Sydney, Nova Scotia, is on the east side of Cape Breton Island. It prospered for decades with steel production, but started delcining after World War II. It is now dependent upon the tourist industry as a cruise ship stop.

They didn't have any exerience building churches, but they knew how to build ships. So they built a ship upside down for the church.

They have the largest Celtic fiddle in the world.
